The North Porirua Care Centre is a community service out of the North Porirua Baptist Church, Whitby, serving the Porirua community through the provision of Social Work and Counselling services
The Care Centre runs under the direction of the North Porirua Care Trust which is committed to continual assessment of the needs of the community and the provision of services in line with those needs.
A heartfelt thank you to the King's Church community for their recent gift day raising thousands of dollars to go towards counselling subsidies. Thank you for capturing the vision of offering hope restored to our clients.

The Trust is over 20 years old, born out of a vision to provide Counselling Services to anyone in the Porirua area who could not afford these services and fell outside any other funding to access Counselling. The free Social Work services were added 12 years ago and it free to anyone in the Porirua area.It oversees the work of the North Porirua Care Centre under the management of Nicky Sims.The Trust does not receive any Government funding but applies for grants and holds fundraising events to raise funds for the services to people in the Porirua area. We gratefully receive donations which will further the work of the Care Centre. A receipt will be sent for tax purposes. Click on the button below.

Faith – Community – Service – Care – Growth – AccountabilityThe North Porirua Care Centre will provide services to our community without regard to culture, gender, religion or economic standing, meeting needs not met by other services. NPCC believes in a strong network of services to benefit the North Porirua community and beyond for every person to have hope and know a pathway to healing and wholeness.Our objective, values and faith statements provide direction and foundation to the work of the NPCC; they are to be adhered to by all trustees, employers, service providers and volunteer workers of the NPCC.
